Emad N Ibrahim MD

Medical Director, Hematology/Oncology Services

Dr. Ibrahim has practiced as a hematologist/oncologist for more than 20 years. He recently accepted a position as the Director of Oncology and Hematology Services at Redlands Community Hospital, where he currently practices at the Center for Cancer Care.

Dr. Ibrahim graduated with Honors in 1987 from the University of Alexandria and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Southern California, where he was awarded the“best senior resident” award. He then completed his hematology and oncology training at the University of Washington and the prestigious Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle in 1998.

Since completing his training, he has practiced primarily in the Redlands area providing hematology and oncology inpatient and outpatient care across the Inland Empire.

In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Ibrahim runs a successful clinical trials program bringing innovative therapies locally to patients of the Inland Empire. He is the principal investigator on many clinical trials in Breast, Lung, Colon and Prostate cancer, as well as Myelofibrosis, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma and other hematologic diseases.

Academic medicine is an important part of Dr. Ibrahim’s work, teaching medical students at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine as a Clinical Professor of Hematology and Oncology. He also is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Ibrahim graduated from medical school with Honors. He is the recipient of multiple awards including being named among America’s Top Doctors by US News and World Reports for several years. He served as the Chairman of Redlands Community Hospital Bioethics committee and has taken special interest in Palliative care where he was certified as a Trainer for physicians in End of Life Care.

Daljeet B. Bansal, M.D.

Dr. Bansal has practiced as a hematologist/oncologist for more than 40 years. She recently accepted a part time position at Redlands Community Hospital working with Dr. Emad Ibrahim at the Center for Cancer Care after working for over 30 years with the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System where she held multiple titles to include senior staff physician, Acting chief in oncology/hematology and staff oncologist/hematologist.

Dr. Bansal has extensive experience treating patients with lung cancer, prostate cancer, head and neck cancer as well as hematologic malignancies.  She is extremely thorough, thoughtful and conscientious.

Dr. Bansal received her education and training at one of the premier institutions (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in New Delhi, India.  She received her hematology/oncology training at Long Island Jewish – Hillside Medical Center in Hyde Park, New York and at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.  She has practiced Hematology-oncology since 1978 in Loma Linda and Redlands CA.
