Tricia Ramos

Tricia has been a nurse for over 30 years, specializing in Oncology Clinical Trials since 2007. Tricia has been an active member of Oncology Nursing Society serving in leadership roles since 2008. She became on Oncology Certified Nurse in 2016. Tricia is extremely passionate about her role as a patient advocate and educator. She empowers patients to actively participate in their care, which is an essential component of patient care. She feels strongly that every patient deserves to be treated with respect and dignity and should be informed of appropriate treatment options. A quote from Tricia: “I have been a specialist in oncology clinical trials since 2007, which has given me the privilege to work closely with clinical trial participants. Kathy has been a Medical Assistant for over 30 years, specializing in Oncology Clinical Trials since 2010. She thrives in delivering compassionate efficient care and has an outstanding ability to connect with patients and work collaboratively with the clinical trials team. Kathy has a wide range of experience, is passionate about her role in Clinical Trials, and prides herself on the accuracy of her work.

 

Joana Murillo

MA, Regulatory Specialist, Research Assistant

Joana has over 15 years of experience managing office administrative functions. She started working with Dr. Ibrahim and his clinical research team in 2019. She provides regulatory management for all trials, a key component to clinical research. Her time management, organizational skills and eye for detail make her an essential asset to the research team. Joana has a delightful personality, gets along very well with her peers, and is very respectful to figures of authority.

 

Doris Charles-Taylor

Budget Specialist

Doris is a highly skilled member of the clinical trials team, with more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare environments, and key expertise in all areas of clinical research administration.  “I love to tell people what I do for a living because it opens up a conversation about how important research is to medicine.  It is very exciting to be on the cusp of tomorrow’s cures today.  It is especially important to me to be an advocate for research in the African American Community, which has typically shied away from participating in clinical trials.”  Doris is passionate about family, community and nature, and brings that same passion to her work ethic.
